WAJ Obtains Summary Judgment and Dismissal of Claims Against Janitorial Services Firm

WAJ obtained summary judgment on claims that its janitorial services client failed to properly respond to an emergency. Alex Joyner argued to the Court that its client responded properly, and that Plaintiff’s litigation consultant was not qualified to render expert opinions regarding the standard of care applicable to janitorial services firms. The Court agreed and granted summary judgment. While that Order was under reconsideration, the remaining co-defendants settled with Plaintiff, and Plaintiff agreed to also release WAJ’s client.
